The Malaysian Grand Prix counts as one the Silver Arrows' home races; after all, the famous Twin Towers of team partner Petronas are not far from the race venue in Kuala Lumpur.
The team does, however, have some unfinished business on the 5,543-metre track: along with Singapore and the Hungaroring, the Sepang International Circuit was one of only three grands prix in 2015 in which neither of the Silver Arrows drivers finished on the top rung of the podium.
In the recent races in Hungary and Singapore, the team rectified that deficit with victories. The Silver Arrows have so far won the Malaysian Grand Prix only once in its 17-year existence.
In 2014, Lewis Hamilton triumphed in his F1 W05 Hybrid and was joined on the podium by team-mate Nico Rosberg in third place.
